The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, May 4 reveals Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) plan to use Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will hit a major snag.
Also coming up, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) won’t be in the mood to deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get into a shouting match with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). And Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will ask Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about the deal she made.
Y&R spoilers tease Victoria will pay Billy a visit. He’ll tell her he’s excited the kids are coming home for a break. Victoria will say she stopped by to warn him. She’ll tell Billy they found emails sent between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and they were handed over to Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell).
Billy will ask what it has to do with him. “Your name is in those emails,” she’ll reply. Billy will say Phyllis isn’t stupid enough to leave her plan in writing and neither is Cane. “This has got your father’s fingerprints all over it,” he’ll add. “He’s railroading her with emails that are fictitious.”

Victoria will say her father just wants to see justice served. “Aren’t you tired of this, lining up behind a corrupt man?” Billy will ask. “This is about causing as much collateral damage as possible.” Then he’ll ask if she’s on board. “Are you gonna let me go down for this?”
The two of them will get into a shouting match, until Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) arrives. Victoria will see her ring. “Is that what I think it is?” she’ll ask. Billy will say he and Sally are engaged. “Congratulations,” Victoria will tell them. “Vic, there’s one more thing, Sally’s pregnant, we’re having a baby,” Billy will add. Victoria will say that’s wonderful and she’ll head out.
Then Sally will ask Billy what she just walked in on. “Victor’s revenge against Phyllis and Cane,” he’ll reply. Billy will add Victor fabricated emails against them and handed them over to the DA and he’s implicated. “What does that mean for you?” Sally will ask. But Billy will say he doesn’t know.
At the Chancellor Park Cafe, Nikki and Claire Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will discuss Chancellor and Lily will come along. Nikki will ask what the deal was that she made with Victor. But Lily will lie and say she just wanted to teach Cane a lesson.
Meanwhile, Patty will encounter Jack at Crimson Lights. She’ll tell him she understands appearances are everything. “I’m afraid word got out that Diane left you.” Then she’ll look down at his hand and see he’s still wearing his wedding ring.
“Why are you in Genoa City?” Jack will ask. “Did Victor renege or are you still on his payroll?” But Patty will lie and say she has no idea who was behind everything. Then she’ll say she can’t stop thinking about that night. “Why fight what was so magical between us?” Patty will tell him, moving in close.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Victor Tells Diane He Considers It A Win
She’ll say she knows he wants her as much as she wants him. “Let’s get outta here and prove it.” Then Kyle will walk in and his mouth will drop open. He’ll approach and inquire if he’s interrupting. “What the hell was that?” Kyle will ask, after Patty leaves. They’ll head to the patio and Jack will say he knows what he’s doing. “Dad, you’re playing with fire,” Kyle will reply.
Jack will say he has a plan. “I will play on that attraction, get inside her head and weaponize her against Victor,” he’ll add. But Kyle will say it’s not a good idea. He’ll ask what would have happened it it had been his mom who walked in and wonder if his father’s giving up.
“Of course not,” Jack will reply. “She has given up on me.” Kyle will encourage his dad to work on his relationship with Diane. And he’ll lead the charge against Victor. They’ll take away something he cares about. “We use Patty to destroy any chance Nikki would ever go back to that bastard,” Jack will reply.
Finally, Victor will run into Diane at the GCAC. He’ll ask if she’s still a guest there and she’ll say she’s not in the mood. “So Jack really broke your heart,” he’ll comment. Diane will say they all know he was responsible for what happened to Jack. “I consider that a win,” he’ll reply.
Diane will tell The Mustache she hopes she lives to see the day when he is knocked so far down he can’t get back up. Then Patty will show up and she and Victor will pretend they haven’t seen each other in ages. She’ll say she was just talking to Jack and talk about their night on the yacht.
“I feel our connection has grown deeper,” Patty will add. Diane will make a face. But she’ll also say that nothing’s changed over the years. “He will always want me more,” Diane will tell Patty.
